The Teen Gender Exploration Group is an ongoing support group for teens who are transgender or have questions or confusion about their gender

and want to explore the issue.

Gender can be a challenging and emotional topic.

It can be difficult to understand and confusing to experience questions or issues related to gender. There are challenges of what society defines, what family says, what friends think, and what we think, feel, and know. While we may face issue of who and what others think we should be, our gender is not their business or their decision. What you feel and express is important and we are here to help you explore your thoughts, feelings, worries, fears, and celebrations of your journey.

We provide a safe, inclusive, and supportive space to explore gender and discuss topics including transgender, gender fluid, gender queer, sexuality, transitioning, family, coming out, hormones, medical treatments and procedures and many other questions, thoughts, and ideas related to gender.

It is important to note that the group is led by counseling professionals who are not doctors of medicine. Therefore they cannot provide guidance or advice related to hormones and medical treatments and procedures but we have great referrals for safe and friendly resources you might need.
